I find this valid and relevant, but it’s still inexcusable to treat another human being with disrespect and humiliation simply because of their personal beliefs, spirituality, or creed.  We will get the respect we want when we give others the respect they deserve.  The only thing i ask of another person is that they not let their own personal happiness destroy or limit the happiness of another person… and that is my creed.

No.  I’m not going to shut up.  I’m an atheist and i’m going to boast about it.  I’m not going to “shut up” until everyone has the freedom i have.  I will not “shut up” woman are given equal rights in every country.  I will not “shut up” until religious persecution does.  I will not “shut up” until everyone has the right to mary someone they love.  I will not “shut up” about god not existing until the world truely has freedom of religion.

If you can walk around and talk about your beliefs freely then why shouldn’t i be able to?

I believe in equality, and right now, partly because of religious persecution we don’t have that.

I’m an atheist, and I will NOT shut up.  

The greatest freedom i’ve ever found is in fighting against those people trying to take it away.  When you start telling us to “shut up” you become one of those people.

I am an atheist and that is my right, and i will do my damnedest to make sure that everyone else can express their rights as freely as i can mine. 

We have the freedom of speech, and we use it.  If you find that annoying plug your ears.
